Welcome to Crystal Peaks Church – we are glad you are visiting.
Crystal Peaks Church is a collection of 30 – 40 ordinary people, who all live within a few miles of Crystal Peaks and who believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news that allows men and women to live in a right relationship with God. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and tells us the only way of salvation and how to live to the honour of God.
We love to share the good news of Jesus and promise that you’ll find a really warm, sincere welcome should you chose to come and visit. Why not join us on a Sunday, we meet at 10:00am and 4:00pm. Follow this link to find out what happens on a Sunday.
For a bit of history:
Crystal Peaks Church started in January 2013, as a plant from Wycliffe Church in Sheffield. We started meeting in the Art Space at Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre.
Three years later, in January 2016, CPC became ‘independent’, although Wycliffe still supports the church in a number of practical and financial ways.
And on Christmas Day 2016 we started meeting in our present home – a former Methodist church.
What type of church are we?
CPC can be described in two ways:
- Technically we are an Evangelical Reformed Church which holds to the historic Confessions of the Christian Church.
- We are members of The Evangelical Fellowship of Congregational Churches.
In plainer language, we believe that God has inspired men to write the Bible and that everything we need to know about God and our relationship with Him can be found in the pages of the Bible. We have proved for ourselves that God is a wonderful, powerful creator and that real joy and peace can be found in His presence.
More than that we can’t fit on this page but we’d be delighted to explain our faith to you, if you’d give us a chance.
